About Me:

Find Your Passion - Live Your Dreams!

Thank you for visiting my profile. Feel free to only pay attention to the parts that interest you :-)

In terms of what I am most passionate about....

I am a business adviser that takes a personal interest in her clients goals. As an advisor I bring experience in community & economic development, the arts, social responsibility, small business management, freelance writing, internet & relationship marketing, community mental health, and research to illuminate your undertakings.

My clients benefit from my focus on the human connection not just the customer relationship which tends to objectify the individual, so that the emphasis on social capital is based on doing business with the common good in mind, not as an aside or after thought...and where the human being behind the transaction is honestly valued beyond their customer status.

In challenging times the value of social capital becomes apparent, but one must pay attention to cultivating it beforehand. (Download my white paper on social capital and CRM Strategy here and Attention Services brochure here)

When you want innovation, vision, creativity and an integrated strategy that addresses multiple challenges I may be able to help. I apply my model and process as the foundation for your strategic planning, product R&D, CSR or CRM Strategy program development, retention/marketing campaign or product launch then it's time to contact me and my stellar team of talented professionals. The goal - the right team for the right project.

How do I work?

It is a challenge to describe what I do because I can do so many things and what I don't do directly I conceptualize and bring together the team to carry it out. But at the heart is always strategic planning to fulfill your mission. I bring new meaning to Creative Strategy that can be applied to a number of challenge areas.

I use what I call "Source Art" as the foundation for my work. This is best represented in the "Cultural Fusion-Art as Philosophy" series. Art is both the context and the solution, and though it may include a painting, installation, digital art, or conceptual performance piece it is how I employ them in analysis, conceptual development, and strategic solutions for my clients that makes the difference. I use art as a core part of my process to analyze and resolve issues as diverse as change management, CSR, CRM Strategy, community development, R&D, product development and regional economic development. My innovative approach to art figures prominently into the solutions I develop.

Framed series Installation emerged from my analysis of and recommendations for a regional economic development project in west Texas. I quite literally use art to process the situation and related data, and then formulate recommendations. In the end, the art is usually a part of the final solution, but in cases where the art is not of interest to the client then it is a bit like notes on a theme. With my clients Love or appreciation of art is not a requirement, but it is preferred.

Another project emerging from my inquiry into Conceptual & Process Art can be explored here (still a work in progress). It was inspired by a collaboration with the Reverence for Life Foundation of Jamaica.

In the simplest terms..I do what Kerry Santo describes in her testimonial at the bottom of this page: "Yvette is the only one I have been so impressed with for her absolute ability to get the bigger picture, she can see where you want to go when others can't and she will get you there with style and class."

I bring what could be called a more enlightened perspective to problem solving and change management and often the results are profound as Ron Wopereis describes in his endorsement: "my perspective on life has shifted into a new paradigm".

What is Cultural Fusion? See Introduction Video here (new one is underway so stay tuned...)
This project benefits AIDS orphans and deprived children, developed in partnership with technology and human service organizations.

When an engaging experience (art) embodies a meaningful community solution, enhanced by meaningful business solutions the result is a rewarding and memorable experience for all. This is result of "Cultural Fusion- Art as Philosophy".

How can my expertise be applied to help you resolve the challenges being faced by your organization? Contact me to find out.

Here's what others have said about the experience and benefits of working with me:

"Yvette is wonderfully creative and passionate, as well as a great evangelist for art, culture, and technology. She is definitely a thought and idea leader, and worth listening to. It is always a pleasure talking to and working with Yvette. I always walk away feeling invigorated and inspired." Robert Rice, CEO, Neogence Studios "Yvette is one of the most productive and creative people that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Yvette also has a vast array of experiences and is one of the most intelligent persons I have known in my life."
Andy Skadberg, Assistant Research Scientist, Texas A&M University

"Yvette is a deeply intuitive and insightful person who has a real talent for spotting connections between seemingly unconnected dots. She has a real talent for distilling complex issues down to the simple steps which will move a project forward."
Erik MacEachern, Owner, MacEachern Associates

"Yvette is a great artist on a mission; she is a woman of extraordinary talents and abilities; she has a big vision on how to make societal changes that will improve the lives of millions. I really appreciate her kindness and wisdom. I am proud to count Yvette in my circle of close friends. I highly recommend her."
Christophe Poizat [6,000+ contacts], Founder & Chairman, International Network of Social Entrepreneurs

"Hi Yvette here is a new endorsement just to let you know that my perspective on life has shifted into a new paradigm, thanks to your explanation of SoulFood (http://comfusion.pbwiki.com/SoulFood). There's something inside telling me that i just got home. With deep gratitude, your buddy in dialogue Ron."
Ronald Wopereis, Club Leader - Attention as a Product, Ecademy

"Out of all the people I have met through networking Yvette is the only one I have been so impressed with for her absolute ability to get the bigger picture, she can see where you want to go when others can't and she will get you there with style and class. I love this woman and cannot recommend her enough and I have been so lucky to have the opportunity to work with her"
Kerry Santo, Owner, Modo Fac Central

"Yvette and I collaborate on ventures for shared client bases from time to time. Yvette's commitment to success for her clients, her team at Webantipon and her network is inspirational. I have no problem recommending Yvette and look forward to working with her team more in the future."
Scott Whitehead, Owner, Zest City

Personally Professional

I am working on something to share my business love story ( or stories) and I'd love to learn from yours. Here's a bit of wisdom from my twitter updates :
Do businesses realize what they want from customers is attention + passion (love)?
Passion unlike affection alone, motivates action. Attention precedes transaction, passion creates evangelist and love is key to loyalty and retention.

What is the difference between falling in love with a business and falling in love with a person?

Yvette, so glad to hear from you. Thank you for your concern. I have an easy answer for you.

My initial thought is that, with your expertise and experience you have with being online, you can simply talk about your activities and add whatever issues, if any, and what plans you're utilizing to stay safe online.

I found you on three sites, including this one. I particularly draw your attention to your statement here, and I quote you in part, "If anyone can help us move this enterprise forward, I'd love to hear from you and certainly welcome your invitation to connect."

Well, here's an opportunity for you to address your needs and concern, and further solicit assistance with your CSR from my audience. Additionally, within an hour of completing the show, you can post a podcast of our interview on sites of your choosing.

Hope that clears up any confusion I might have caused.
