- My passion is educating people on making our planet a healthy place to live, whether through corporate social responsibility, domestic violence prevention, Reduce/Reuse/Recycle, smart choices in home products and vehicles, water and land conservation, organic foods, Israel, child protection, micro-loans, vegetarianism/veganism, interfaith discussions, green buildings, etc.
Some of my favorite organizations are Hadassah, Young Judaea, Safehome (KS), The Spring (Tampa), Women's Transitional Living Center (Orange County, CA), MOCSA (KCMO), The Ophelia Project, Junior Achievement, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Grameen Foundation, Kiva, Mineseekers, US Green Building Council, Save Darfur, Genocide Intervention, The Harry Potter Alliance (teaches kids about social advocacy), www.care2.com, www.theanimalrescuesite.com.
I enjoy reading (Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, business inspirational, environmental sustainability, comparative religion), watching movies (anything BBC or Bollywood, sports inspirational), and volunteering (through synagogues, JCC, Federation, AIPAC, JCRB, Hadassah, local community events). I have been a Sci-Fi/Fantasy buff since early childhood when I would sneak my dad's Isaac Asimov magazine back in grade school.
Seeking Project Coordinator or similar position in corporate or non-profit environment. Areas of interest are IT, energy, healthcare, green buildings. Open to opportunities in Houston, Austin, or Dallas.
I earned my MBA and undergraduate degrees (Business Management and Business Administration) from University of Phoenix in Fountain Valley, CA.
Currently volunteering with the US Green Building Council and Project Management Institute. Networking extensively.
