In 2008 Dawn was selected as one of the nation’s 80 emerging women leaders by Oprah Magazine and The White House Project, as well as, chosen as one of 15 “Women of Achievement” by Georgia, YWCA for her socially dynamic programs and life long dedication to the benefit of women and children.

Dawn is the CEO, Founder of The Heart Link Network™, an innovative female networking and marketing company, which launched 100 locations in 27 states in its first 120 days. Dawn has taken the art of networking to the next level by creating a networking and marketing model that helps female entrepreneurs explode their businesses. Dawn is dedicated to linking women to wonderful resources, new ideas, products and services and especially the hearts of one another, because women linked are sure to create a better tomorrow. Dawn is also co-founder of Inspiration is the Secret™, a soon to be released web based company that provides daily success, parenting and relationship inspirations that are “just a Dawn minute” long, to promote character and excellence in children and adults. But Dawn’s favorite accomplishment is the creation of the beloved CAPABLES™ Learning System, a plush parenting toy/tool touted by parenting experts, to revolutionize parenting around the world. Dawn plans to give the first 2000 toys and tools to military service families serving our country.

Dawn has a passion for making a difference in the lives of women and children and travels nationally as a parenting and relationship expert and a highly sought after speaker and trainer who specializes in entitlement issues that are currently plaguing our society. Dawn has a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, while her doctorate studies focused on Organizational Psychology and Personality.

Dawn has been a presenter for the legendary Love and Logic Institute, where she shared with teachers, administrators and counselors secrets on how to inspire children to live the greatness within them, and has written two books with its founder, Jim Fay. She is the author of over 15 books including Greatness and Children: Learn the Rules, Entitled to Fail, Endowed to Succeed: America’s Journey Back to Greatness, Choose to Be Great Workbook and her classic fable, The Perfect Heart, but Dawn is most proud of the fact that both of her sons Tony, 29 and Corbin 20, are awarding winning contributors to their communities and to the world.

7 Lies You Tell Yourself that Steal your Success

Most people long for success and feel frustrated because they don’t know what is keeping them from achieving it. Of course, no one’s life circumstances and environment are perfect. But there are some who appear to enjoy more success in all areas of their lives than others, so what makes the difference?

What makes the difference are the lies we tell ourselves that we think are true. What you think determines how you will react to situations in your life, as well as your behavior. The way you rea… Continue

Hopes and Dreams and how to make them come true

In January, there is much talk of new beginnings and the resolutions we make to our selves to alter things for our betterment. Ah, this is a grand time of grand promises to ourselves, but sadly most resolutions are prefaced with the words "I would like to," "I want to," or "I will try," which set the course for derailment and difficulty, for to just want, just desire, or to but try, is to insist that the path to your dreams be hard.

Awareness and Gratitude: The Winning Combination for a Happy Life

When you commit yourself to living an endowed life versus one of entitlement, you realize that every moment is filled with opportunities for appreciation and gratitude. Endowed lenses are lenses covered with words like blessed, fortunate, and lucky.

Maintaining an endowed perspective helps you to remember how fortunate you are for obvious things like your health, your eyesight, your ability to speak, or walk, or run, or even more subtle things, like the kind smile of a friend or the laughter of… Continue

Network your way to a Better Memory

No matter what you are doing, whether it is shopping for groceries, getting your nails done, sitting at the park with your children, or attending a networking gathering, researchers have found that ten minutes of face to face contact improves memory and boosts intellectual performance. This research published in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin is fascinating.

Think about it, just ten minutes of talking, face to face or by phone, improves memory and boosts intellectual performance… Continue
