Brother Hickson...congratulations on joining My Linking Power Forum. Make sure to check out the following Phis who you could connect with for business in California: Chris Wehrle; Jon Root; Kevin Klein; Jeremy Hermanns; Danny Goodman; Marcus Arredondo; Chris Fisher; and Jeff Games. By the way...all of the aforementioned individuals are also LinkedIn.
I am a husband, father of two, and an educator. I have enjoyed teaching for over 12 years now. I have been an outdoor education instructor/naturalist and I currently teach 5th grade. Unfortunately with the current budget cuts in CA, my teaching position (as well as those of 120 others in my school district) may be cut. I hope that the state budget situation will be resolved before the summer. If not, many educators in CA will be out of work next year.
Thankfully, I have kept current with another interest of mine which is real estate finance. I have been working in finance part time attempting to replace my wife's teaching income so she can stay at home with our kids. Instead, I may be replacing my own teaching salary... and I am very grateful to have this option.
I have enjoyed working in real estate finance since I was a college student. My father and older brother are both experts in the field, so it has always been a popular subject in our family. I like to stay up to date on what is happening in the financial world. Because of this, I have been able to help out many friends and colleagues by sharing what I know and assisting them in arranging the best possible financing for their individual needs. I am now partnered with a great team of financial experts who have the same desire to help others.
Please read more about my interests and areas of expertise below. For more information, you can visit my profile on Linkedin. Your invites are welcome!
