Greetings! I joined Twitter in 2006 when there was not much of anything going on. It's great to see how its evolving and growing. The cool thing about Twitter is that it can become whatever want it to be.

Don't know how many of you have heard about this but the UK High Court issued a legal writ via Twitter against a Tweeter who was impersonating right wing blogger Donel Blaney.

I have much to say so instead of repeating myself - allow me to simply ask you to read my latest blog post with embedded video and make a decision for yourself. It is amazing how you can do everything you are supposed to and at times still get it and yet makes one wonder - if good people do not stand up when it is required what happens.

Does that means that you should post the same message in all 280+ groups? If so, what's the purpose of having separate groups? This group is about Twitter and micro blogging, Bruce. Please consider working WITH us to keep it that way. There's a great abundance of appropriate groups in which to share the rest of the web with others.

A metaphor: we have a kitchen for one thing - a bathroom for another - a bedroom for another. I'd like for us to at least work to have modicum of comparable order here. Your participation in that mission would be highly appreciated - and, I believe would strengthen your call to action, rather than weakening it...

Why does there have to be any correlation? Twitter is a social medium where one can talk about, well just about anything (at least that's what I thought). Surely, stating an opinion about another social network is acceptable ... if not, then that makes my whole point exactly that I mentioned in the message. Everyone is way too concerned over protecting their piece of the cake or keeping it properly regulated or cocooned than actually building the cake to begin with! Social networking is an extension of our own stream of consciousness ... when we limit its capabilities, we do irreparable damage to the fluidity of the thought process that got us there in the first place. Again and respectfully, just my humble opinion for what that's worth ...
