Greetings LinkingTexas. I am a video producer and Director of Photography (among other things) based in Dallas, getting acquainted with some different groups. Pleased to find this one...

Here's a bit of my profile:
Tracy's 25+ years of travel and production includes 5 years as staff cameraman for CNN Dallas and more than twelve years as owner of Trace Productions. This company provides Writer / Producer services and a complete video production workflow for clients ranging from major corporations to broadcast and cable television networks to independent documentary producers. Tracy's travels in pursuit of compelling images have taken him all over the U.S. and to destinations in Europe and the Middle East. Awards include a Daytime Emmy, a CableAce, two Communicator Awards and three Telly Awards. Trace Productions provides project continuity — taking corporate video projects from inception through script writing, production and editing with an understanding of the medium of television and a high motivation for client satisfaction. In broadcast and cable television, Tracy's services continue to be sought by CNN, NBC News, A&E Network, The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, ESPN, Fox Sports and many more. Established TexasB-roll.com in 2002, adding CityB-roll.com in 2007 - Tracy has put thousands of miles on the old truck shooting broadcast ready stock footage of cities and themes across the USA. Over 600 HD clips available now in 1080i 24p, with much more on the way.
Tracy's passion away from the primary career has always been music. After 25 years of sporadic recordings and live performance in a variety of bands in San Antonio and Dallas, Texas, now he is in the midst of a full length CD studio recording project, "Welcome to the Color Bar." The project is being recorded at January Sound in Dallas and Blue Cat Studios in San Antonio, and features a stellar cast of supporting players , and several very special guests. Hear one of the tracks in production "Tell Me What's the Reason" on this site. More tracks, video and information about the band at www.myspace.com/traceelementstx.
Thanks for listening....

Let's have an old fashioned "barn-raising" to rebuild Vincent!

I have an idea on how to raise money quickly for Vincent. It requires 40 golfers who will work together to raise support for themselves to play in a golf marathon. I already have it all set up and we can do this together. We actually could pull this off in a very short time.

When I first told Vincent about the concept he was ecstatic. This was at the end of April. I knew that financially he was struggling at that time but he made it through the end of the month and into May.

We all love Vincent for who he is and how much his encouragement has touched our lives. The outpouring of concern today following his letter is a huge example of how much everyone here cares about Vincent.

On Monday night when I talked to Vincent, I suggested launching the golf tournament to raise funds. I asked Vincent how he felt $75,000 more or less would affect what he was doing in building his network. He said it would certainly help.

I know someone this last week responded to the flurry of Linkedin problems with a question to Vincent about him starting his own network. Vincent replied that if he had a couple of million $$$ he might just do that.

On Monday, I told Vincent that I felt it was perfect timing to let all of us who had been supported through the years by him and his ENCOURAGEMENT now support him and everyone could be part of that support in having the fundraising golf tournament to secure funds for him and his plan to build the network.

He asked that I send him something in writing so that he could read it. He also said that he had an excruciating headache and was going on to bed. We were to talk again on Tuesday night. That never happened. The phone calls and emails that I sent have gone unanswered.

I understand now why they were unanswered. In order to have this golf tournament it would have meant that he was saying he needed help and that was very hard for him to admit.

Will you help with this fundraising? Let's call it an old fashioned "BARN-RAISING" so that we can rebuild Vincent! This was done in all the olden days when a family lost their home to a fire. Vincent has lost not only his home to this fire; he has lost much more than that. Vincent lost his self-respect, his zest for life, his family ties that he cherished so dearly and most of all his feeling that he could create a livelihood for himself. We can join together to rebuild not only his home (a place to live) but also to rebuild the valuable respect he needs by knowing that without his asking for help … we wanted to help him.

Please contact me ASAP if you will be part of this project.

Thank you, Margaret, Jason, and all of the rest of you who today intervened in this crisis.

With much love and concern for my friend,

Martha Sue Yeary
