Hi. I'm the author of a forthcoming book: "All Moms Work: Short-Term Career Strategies for Long-Range Success" (Capital Books): www.allmomswork.com.

"All Moms Work" is a comprehensive and practical guide for accessing your own work options--whether you want to work part-time, telecommute, start a business, consult--or work full-time with flexible hours. If you are currently one of America's 5.6 million stay-at-home moms, then this book will tell you how to re-enter the part or full-time workforce. In today's economy, many stay-at-home moms are finding that they need to go back to work. This book will show you how to do it--whether by finding a "family friendly" employer or by starting your own business.

For a limited time, the publisher is offering a pre-publication discount of 35% off the $15.95 list price on pre-orders through their site:

I look forward to networking with you!

Hi forum members,

It seems to be the tradition to introduce oneself, so here I go.

I am first of all pleased to see familiar faces in the forum and hope to make new acqaintances here.

Most of what I do is in my profile, so take a peep and leave me a comment as you please.

I am being referenced as either a 'capacity builder' or as 'one of the best networked people on-line' - neither probably reveals the truth, I am just a simple guy with a complex brain. :)

I am always open to share knowledge and to look at opportunities with mutual value.

Best regards

Hello everyone. I have been searching the past 3 years for investors for a cogeneration cellulosic ethanol and algae biodiesel facility of my own design (the culmination of 10 years of research). In addition, I am looking for a new position as a librarian/researcher/analyst/strategic planner/project manager or anything else that could best employ my wide range of skills. I thoroughly enjoy learning as well as having something to show for a honest day's work. My full profile can be found at http://www.linkedin.com/in/jongeorg. Please feel free to contact me at jon@allnaturalzebra.net. Thank you and God Bless.

Let's have an old fashioned "barn-raising" to rebuild Vincent!

I have an idea on how to raise money quickly for Vincent. It requires 40 golfers who will work together to raise support for themselves to play in a golf marathon. I already have it all set up and we can do this together. We actually could pull this off in a very short time.

When I first told Vincent about the concept he was ecstatic. This was at the end of April. I knew that financially he was struggling at that time but he made it through the end of the month and into May.

We all love Vincent for who he is and how much his encouragement has touched our lives. The outpouring of concern today following his letter is a huge example of how much everyone here cares about Vincent.

On Monday night when I talked to Vincent, I suggested launching the golf tournament to raise funds. I asked Vincent how he felt $75,000 more or less would affect what he was doing in building his network. He said it would certainly help.

I know someone this last week responded to the flurry of Linkedin problems with a question to Vincent about him starting his own network. Vincent replied that if he had a couple of million $$$ he might just do that.

On Monday, I told Vincent that I felt it was perfect timing to let all of us who had been supported through the years by him and his ENCOURAGEMENT now support him and everyone could be part of that support in having the fundraising golf tournament to secure funds for him and his plan to build the network.

He asked that I send him something in writing so that he could read it. He also said that he had an excruciating headache and was going on to bed. We were to talk again on Tuesday night. That never happened. The phone calls and emails that I sent have gone unanswered.

I understand now why they were unanswered. In order to have this golf tournament it would have meant that he was saying he needed help and that was very hard for him to admit.

Will you help with this fundraising? Let's call it an old fashioned "BARN-RAISING" so that we can rebuild Vincent! This was done in all the olden days when a family lost their home to a fire. Vincent has lost not only his home to this fire; he has lost much more than that. Vincent lost his self-respect, his zest for life, his family ties that he cherished so dearly and most of all his feeling that he could create a livelihood for himself. We can join together to rebuild not only his home (a place to live) but also to rebuild the valuable respect he needs by knowing that without his asking for help … we wanted to help him.

Please contact me ASAP if you will be part of this project.

Thank you, Margaret, Jason, and all of the rest of you who today intervened in this crisis.

With much love and concern for my friend,

I just created a new group centered around those individuals who have used the Gallup Organization's Strength Finder tool. Would like to see a viable community created to discuss how this tool has had an affect on your professional life.

I received an email inviting me to join the expert panel at the Roundtable Group (http://www.roundtable.com). From what I was able to ascertain they are a) above board and b) costs you nothing. They make your expertise available to the clients for expert witnesses and speaking engagements; you set the fee, they tack on a service charge and send you your billable hours when they collect from the client. Anyone had any experience with this organization?
