I didn't think I was a "Hunter" type salesperson. But I am according to this article by Greta Roberts of Target Teams. http://www.salesandmarketing.com/msg/content_display/publications/e3i235a6a3dbc3c1866423e3fc00ea05c9d

I would be very interested in hearing others comments on how this definition fits into their pre-concieved notions of the so called Hunter.

Hi, Georgeann,
Let's not worry about typos. We care more about good attitudes! :-)

As for your gesture, I SINCERELY appreciate it but, that matter is largely behind us now... (Far from rich but, moving in a much better direction! :-) )

Let's GO FORWARD, OK?

Thanks, and Keep STRONG, Georgeann!!

OK...I am very new to writing on walls. If someone knows how I can edit my typos in the comment below, please advise. If not, I am not sure if the procedure is to delete then post a corrected version.

Vincent Wright is my hero! I am one of his biggest fans. I stumbled upon LinkedIn.com online in 2006 and Vincent got me started tracking down former coworkers and contacts.

I read a comment below about a possible golf get-together. Not sure if it happened.

I am not sure if this is an appropriate place to mention this but....my husband had acquire such an enormous portfolio of timeshares before we met in 2006 that I created http://OurTimeshareRentals.com. Mostly we just travel the world. Took the Princess World Cruise 2008, were are at a resort in Puerto Vallarta for six months, then will be in Europe April-July.

I have been trying to improve my websites in between swimming and relaxing.

BUT the point of my ramblings.....IF a group would like to get together in Mexico AND Vincent Wright came to visit....I would be more than happy to contribute accommodations for free to people like Vincent and at cost to others.

I spent thirty years in sales and business development, the face to face, "feet in the street" type of sales. I am now recruiting sales, marketing, strategic management and business development pros who have business maturity and know how to "sell up" for several different industries.

I am happy to help people learn the difference between a "drive and drop" salesman and someone who really understands customer relationship marketing, increasing client market share and three fundamental rules of good salesmanship.

Let's have an old fashioned "barn-raising" to rebuild Vincent!

I have an idea on how to raise money quickly for Vincent. It requires 40 golfers who will work together to raise support for themselves to play in a golf marathon. I already have it all set up and we can do this together. We actually could pull this off in a very short time.

When I first told Vincent about the concept he was ecstatic. This was at the end of April. I knew that financially he was struggling at that time but he made it through the end of the month and into May.

We all love Vincent for who he is and how much his encouragement has touched our lives. The outpouring of concern today following his letter is a huge example of how much everyone here cares about Vincent.

On Monday night when I talked to Vincent, I suggested launching the golf tournament to raise funds. I asked Vincent how he felt $75,000 more or less would affect what he was doing in building his network. He said it would certainly help.

I know someone this last week responded to the flurry of Linkedin problems with a question to Vincent about him starting his own network. Vincent replied that if he had a couple of million $$$ he might just do that.

On Monday, I told Vincent that I felt it was perfect timing to let all of us who had been supported through the years by him and his ENCOURAGEMENT now support him and everyone could be part of that support in having the fundraising golf tournament to secure funds for him and his plan to build the network.

He asked that I send him something in writing so that he could read it. He also said that he had an excruciating headache and was going on to bed. We were to talk again on Tuesday night. That never happened. The phone calls and emails that I sent have gone unanswered.

I understand now why they were unanswered. In order to have this golf tournament it would have meant that he was saying he needed help and that was very hard for him to admit.

Will you help with this fundraising? Let's call it an old fashioned "BARN-RAISING" so that we can rebuild Vincent! This was done in all the olden days when a family lost their home to a fire. Vincent has lost not only his home to this fire; he has lost much more than that. Vincent lost his self-respect, his zest for life, his family ties that he cherished so dearly and most of all his feeling that he could create a livelihood for himself. We can join together to rebuild not only his home (a place to live) but also to rebuild the valuable respect he needs by knowing that without his asking for help … we wanted to help him.

Please contact me ASAP if you will be part of this project.

Thank you, Margaret, Jason, and all of the rest of you who today intervened in this crisis.

With much love and concern for my friend,

Martha Sue Yeary
