If so, please send me a quick message or reply here. I have two reasons for asking: one, it's nice to meet people face to face. Two, I'll be live-blogging about the conference and would like to gather some thoughts and opinions from people before they arrive. Thanks.
Hello. I teach English, social studies, and technology in a private middle school in Oregon. We don't currently use Ning, and I'm just trying to check it out. I think it might be useful for staff members to communicate among themselves. I'm also thinking of creating a network for students and teachers together. I know many teachers, myself included, don't really feel comfortable having students as "friends" on facebook. I don't know whether either one will work, or if there will be any unforesee…
Hello!
I am a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in the United States. I am currently working on a research paper about the Visual Arts Curriculum in Thailand. I need to know at what grade levels Visuals Arts are taught and their frequency – how many days a week and for h…
We started a social networking site on ning for our regional campus of Ivy Tech Community College-Northeast. It's an internal social network for faculty and staff to better open communication lines between offices and departments. As we have grown, it's been more difficult to share information. This also will serve as an effort to cut down e-mail SPAM across campus and target messages to specific groups. We are letting it spread through a viral campaign before announcing it at our all-employee m…
Hi -- I'm a teacher in an alternative school in Surrey, BC, Canada who is looking for a way to refresh my career after 35 years at a desk. I have been on an 'accelerated' learning program over the past 20 months as I have worked my way towards an understanding of web 2.0 and it's power to help students become more engaged in their learning. I've enjoyed Classroom 2.0 and 2.0 Live and would like to find out how this network differs from those.

Hi Molly,
There is a group of Special Education here on Ning. I don't know if you have found it yet or not.
One of the member is doing some research that you may be interested in. There aren't to many special eductors on Ning that I have found yet. I am hoping that more special educator will join.
