Hello Everyone,

My name is Love Davis and I run a direct mail catalog company as well as a business plan consulting firm specializing in small business. I am a professor of Business at three local colleges in Maryland and I thrive on helping others with their business daily.

I help small business owners take all of those ideas that they have floating around in their head and help them to create a solid plan that covers the entire scope of their business. You would be surprised at how many people don't even include a succession plan in their business plan or a comprehensive strategic plan.

I can work with most people's budget. I also host a business planning seminar (a real one where I am not selling anything) about four times a year. The next one is slated to come about in February. You will leave with an intermediate knowledge of how to properly set up your business plan.

I want to take the seminars on a statewide tour, so anyone that would love to incorporate me in their plans, please feel free to contact me at eanddenterprisesllc@gmail.com or (443) 768-8250.

I look forward to networking with you all.

Good afternoon everyone,

Are you a new project manager looking for help driving your first project to a successful launch? Are you a project mentor looking for project mentees?

I have taken a page from the FlyLady group and broken down the stages and tasks of running any project into daily nuggets in a repeating monthly cycle.

How in the world can we discuss all phases of managing your first project in just a month?

The month is sliced in 2 directions:

Noon Nuggets - with a new project phase each week,

Nightly Nuggets - with a project management 'tool' explored each day.

How would you like to be helped?

Project1Mentors Blog at http://project1mentors.wordpress.com/ which has expanded thoughts on nuggets, lists of resources and an overview of the daily themes.

Yahoo Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Project1Mentors for both discussion and to receive short Nuggets by e-mail.

Twitter Tweets by following http://twitter.com/project_1 which will provide updates on blog posts, new resources, and hot topics being discussed in the Yahoo! Group... all in 160 characters or less.

I look forward to interacting with everyone in these new and exciting formats and welcome your suggestions and needs!

Nancy

Greetings everyone,

I am Mari-Lyn Hudson an Artist & Marketing Coach of which I specialize in working with Artists in marketing themselves, their products and services.

I have been an Entrepreneur for most of my life and started consulting in 1995. Recently moved to Sedona, AZ I would like to connect with people locally and on-line.

I am seeking referrals to people you know who buy appreciation gifts for their clients. They are tired of the same old promotional items like a mug or pen and want something unique that will be a conversational piece to give to their clients that shows appreciation of their business.

Secondly, do you know of a starving artist who needs help?

I appreciate all your help and referrals. If you would like to connect with me you can reach me at: mari-lyn(at)heartatworkonline(dot)org - I accept all invitations.

Looking forward in meet and connecting with you.

Hi forum members,

It seems to be the tradition to introduce oneself, so here I go.

I am first of all pleased to see familiar faces int he forum and hoep to make new acqaintances here.

Most of what I do is in my profile, so take a peep and leave me a comment as you please.

I am being referenced as either a 'capacity builder' or as 'one of the best networked people on-line' - neither probably reveals the truth, I am just a simple guy with a complex brain. :)

I am always open to share knowledge and to look at opportunities with mutual value.

Best regards

Dr. Edward Lin Comment by Dr. Edward Lin on July 28, 2008 at 1:08pm
Greetings, friends!

I am visiting Silicon Valley/Bay area this week, from July 28 - August 2, 2008 and have some free time to meet with fellow Forum members in the Bay area who are accredited investors, entrepreneurs or skilled executives in the medical device/pharma or wireless handset (mobile internet devices) sectors looking for ground floor opportunities to take several disruptive technologies to market.

I am a Sarasota, Florida-based physician, inventor, environmentalist and entrepreneur. One of my important inventions for telecommunications is a universal input device called the VersaPad. It unshackles the telephone dial pad from its text input limitations via an intuitively simple layout and an ingenious modification to the key itself. Please take a look at http://ingenious.com/Versapad/Versapad.htm This invention has received landmark patents in all major nations of the world including US, Japan, China and European nations. Also pending is a simple and fast method for text input via touch screen.

Among other patent pending inventions I have is an ultra advanced wound care system. This innovative low-cost but high-value wound care system represents a paradigm shift in wound care and enables optimization of the microenvironment over a wound by infusing pure oxygen, nitric oxide, proteolytic and antibiotic lavages, immune modulators and healing factors, etc. The result is exceptional multifold acceleration of wound healing previously not possible.

I am looking for angel investors and executive partners in the commercialization of the above. If you believe you can bring special value to the process, please contact me.

I also invite you to join my network (on LinkedIn and/or Xing) for friendship, synergy, world peace and opportunities in leading edge technologies. Please send me an invitation via LinkedIn (or Xing) with an intro or brief capsule about yourself. I look forward to becoming acquainted.

In friendship,

Ed

Timothy A. Wilson Comment by Timothy A. Wilson on July 26, 2008 at 6:20pm
Hello, I would like to introduce myself to the group. My name is Tim Wilson I am the owner of T.A.Wilson & Associates which is an Organizational Development and Executive Coaching Advisory Firm. I started this company in 1999.

I work with senior managers, who are frustrated with members of their team not holding themselves accountable, concerned about communication breakdowns, and tired of always having to remind people that they should be working as team.

It's been my experience when accountability is lacking, communication is inconsistent, and teamwork is a word instead of a normal occurrence, you have the introduction of silos, people paying more attention to politics, and managers more concerned about their own "turf" than what is good for the customer and the company.

I would like to point out that I do organizational and individual coaching along with leadership and management development training. As I wish to be careful and not violate any group rules, I will limit any further discussion about my business and provide you with my contact information which is:
