Is it age or ATTITUDE which prevents someone from hiring you??
I know men and women who may be considered "chronologically old" by most standard age tests but, who are about as refreshing to be around as people one half or even one third their ages. They lighten the load by lightening up the places where they work.
And to the corollary, I know men and women who, while chronologically young, PUSH PEOPLE AWAY from them with attitudes which are about as persistently rancid and negative as any of us can handle.
So, if you are hiring someone and you knew you could save a few dollars by hiring a younger person with a rancid attitude or knew you'd have to pay a few more dollars for an older person with an attitude which could refresh and enlighten your teams, which would you choose?
Thanks, and Keep STRONG!!
