In my opinion, most people (regardless of age) want to be acknowledge on their birthday.

I've developed 2 habits for acknowledging people's birthday. First, they will get a greeting card from me in the mail. Second, I like to call and sing 'happy birthday' in my best lounge singer voice. I am not a good singer, so this is just for fun and always gets a good laugh.

This is a terrific idea, Vincent! The little kid in all of us always loves to celebrate a party. Even when the candles begin to cover the top of the cake as in my case ... it is still special to hear from those that you care about!
