We're all busy but, we also want to meet great people. Meeting great people starts with YOU! So, Introduce Yourself! :-)

Now, we have little time to write full-fledged introductions that cover everything about us.

Nor do we have time to read tons upon tons of detailed, lengthy introductions.

At the same time, we have to at least start the process of introducing ourselves - else we won't maximize our opportunities to earn and learn via social networking.

So, here's an idea: MLPF Micro-Introductions!

I run a small and growing, revolutionary brain-friendly school in Southern California. Currently, the school is only part-time. I teach in the homes of homeschoolers. I am too busy and am looking to hire two part-time teachers so that I can continue to grow the school.

I plan to be a full-time school one day, but one thing at a time. Time is moving so slowly, when my vision for my school is so huge and exciting!

Bottom line: school should be fun! The children should be actively involved in stuff they want to learn - yes, they love this and can't wait for the next school day!

My anme is Barry Groh, and I am presently unemployed after six years as the Director of Building and Outreach (2007-2009) and Director of Youth and Program (2003-2007) at Asbury United Methodist Church here in Salisbury. In July my position was eliminated and while I knew it was coming I hadn't been able to find another opportunity prior to that position ending. I also believe that God (I apologize for the God-talk for those who aren't Christian) not only wanted us to stay in Salisbury but also wanted me to have available time to spend with my daughter. Now that school is fast approaching my opportunities are beginning to look up as well as new prospects coming into view.

In my spare time I enjoy walking, gardening, golf, travel, and
spending time with my wife and daughter.

While I am wanting to stay in the Salisbury area (for now) I am also open to commuting to southern Delaware or even the Eastern Shore of Virginia and look for any contacts that could lead me to that next opportunity. I am also willing to help with anyone looking for contacts in this area, and open to new contacts through LinkedIn.

As you know publishing is tanking. My mortgage has doubled and my husband had to close his property management business at the end of last year because it was largely based on tourism. So, a lot falls on my shoulders (I also take care of my elderly mother). In any event, I welcome and have done: article writing, interviewing, books, book proposals (which I e-teach), newsletter writing, editing, marketing, press releases, blogging, newspaper columns (11 years of a weekly byline), research, speeches, college course material, and whatever else you can think of, if it's in print, I've done it.

I am seeking to get back into the automotive industry and sure would like to know if anyone knows of or has any decision making contacts that have openings with CarFax (Strategic National Accounts Manager), Cobalt (Regional Dealer Group Manager-Georgia) or DealerTrack (Representing the AAX solution software) I would certainly appreciate a heads up.
