Introduce Yourself!

We're all busy but, we also want to meet great people. Meeting great people starts with YOU! So, Introduce Yourself! :-)

Now, we have little time to write full-fledged introductions that cover everything about us.

Nor do we have time to read tons upon tons of detailed, lengthy introductions.

At the same time, we have to at least start the process of introducing ourselves - else we won't maximize our opportunities to earn and learn via social networking.

So, here's an idea: MLPF Micro-Introductions!

If you want to expand your network a, use the MLPF Micro-Introduction to introduce yourself to more than 4,000 fellow members by joining us at: http://mylinkingpowerforum.ning.com/group/IntroduceYourself

Between the dollar signs below is a SAMPLE which we want you to feel free to use to customize your own, personal introduction:

Bernie Warren Comment by Bernie Warren on June 10, 2009 at 8:07pm
Hello. I’m Bernie Warren and I’d like to introduce myself. Regrettably, I am, through no fault of my own, an unemployed Office Manager/Executive Administrative Assistant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Unlike many other job seekers, I thoroughly enjoy my position as it regularly presents multiple challenges, ever-changing needs, and constant shifts in priorities; all within a spiraling and fast-paced environment. It fuels, motivates, and provides me with the daily satisfaction I need to eagerly face whatever tomorrow will bring. Not knowing what tomorrow might bring or morph into is half the fun!

With more than 8 years of experience providing comprehensive vice president level executive administrative support and expert customer service delivery and supervisory experience, I also have a wealth of multi-functional experience in purchasing, human resource on-boarding, inventory control, negotiation, people management, process improvement and relationship building. I am results-oriented, technically savvy, and a quick learner.

Some of my accomplishments:

• Developed efficiencies in current processes equating to yearly savings of $18K.

• Conceived and implemented policies which produced unplanned revenues of $5K in the first year.

• Introduced a quality audit process that saved $20K a year.

I can save your company money too! And provide the kind of customer service that keeps your customers coming back again and again and again.

If you are interested in my resume, please email me at berniewarren1@aol.com. References cheerfully provided as well.
I am honest, trustworthy, ethical and flexible requiring little or no supervision with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities at once.

If you are looking for an organized, take charge, hard-working, dedicated, yet real person with a good sense of humor, look no further, I'm right here!

I am Ron Leedy. My expertise is in building out data center infrastructures and developing data center Operation teams. Over the last decade, I have taken several SaaS organizations from the womb to mature deployments. Currently, I am consulting small business in negotiating with technology partners and managing vendors. I am also working with small IT teams to get processes in place and setting standards.

When not consulting, I officiate soccer matches at the club and college level. I am also a USSF Referee Instructor and mentor less experienced Referees.

Additionally, I also volunteer at the schools and manage the kitchen during fundraisers as I graduated from culinary school before making a career in computers. My conversion of careers started by writing the first commercially available restaurant management software in dBase II on the M/PM operating system. Thats pre-DOS and Windows for you kiddies out there.

If your organization needs some assistance in getting IT excellence or managing operational process, reach out to me. I primarily travel on the West Coast but will go to other places; particularly areas of the US I have never been before.

My name is Tom Tuohy. I am the Founder and President of Dreams for Kids,a global youth organization, creating social change by uniting a generation of diverse youth to each other and to service at home and around the world.

This is our 20th Anniversary. Our call to action is for you to join us in your community. Help us unite and empower youth. The time has come for us to talk less and do more. We know the bad news. We hear it every day. Let me tell you the good news: There has never been a generation of people more ready and willing to break down the walls of segregation and create a world of shared prosperity. They want to prosper – and they want their peers to prosper along with them.

We are piloting a global social enterprising program in the fall which connects kids with “disabilities” with their able bodied peers. You can join us in the campaign to end the isolation of people with disabilities, or you can watch the news. Either way, we are coming- and the world will never be the same. We would much rather have you on the team, and we will go further with you.

We have our laundry list of social challenges and we all know them. Let’s assemble an army of young goodwill ambassadors that works together on the most critical issues right now. This generation of youth will inherit this future and they have no intention of waiting to change the world.

As for me, I speak, quite passionately, about social change, diversity, social enterprising solutions, youth empowerment- and action. I am also the author of Kiss of a Dolphin, the inspirational story of Dreams for Kids and the young and young at heart who made it all possible. All book proceeds and all my speaking fees support Dream for Kids.

Make no mistake about it; this is the very best time in history. We are going to create an entirely new world. What will it look like? What role will you play? Are you ready to join the youth movement?

Will you join us?

Tomek Jankowski Comment by Tomek Jankowski on May 31, 2009 at 3:08pm
Greetings all,

My name is Tomek Jankowski, and professionally I am a research analyst specializing in the consulting market, with a focus on EMEA and emerging markets. I am always happy to have discussions with business leaders and professionals connected to those two foci about what's happening in local markets. I like to remind folks nervous about revealing too much that I am an analyst and not a journalist, which means I'm looking for market trends, not a big scoop on your company. Through my employer I already speak fairly regularly with leaders and partners from the largest consulting firms, but I like to cast a wide net and hear what's happening at all levels, and not just firms connected to consulting -- the general business environment is always helpful too!

On the personal side, I hope to have a book coming out later this year on Eastern Europe, which I'll no doubt be stumping when it hits shelves!

Thanks -

Tomek
