ABOUT "I'm On Linkedin - Now What???

I'm on LinkedIn - Now What???FIRST: This is the blog supports the book. SECOND: To get your copy of the book, check out this page with ordering information (eBook, in bulk, from Amazon, etc.).

Authored by Jason Alba, with Executive Editor Scott Allen, this book helps you get the most out of your LinkedIn experience and understand where it should fit into your networking strategy.

Jason came up with the idea for I’m on LinkedIn — Now What??? as he tried to figure out the answer for himself, and for the thousands of job seekers and professionals who have asked this very question. In fact, he believes that just about everyone who has ever signed up for a LinkedIn account has asked “now what???

Jason is the CEO and founder of JibberJobber.com, a career management website designed to empower professionals with powerful career tools. Even though he had done “all the right things” to have job security, including earning a technical degree and an MBA, having big flashy job titles and a strong resume, and having a list of achievements and recommendations, Jason could hardly land a job interview, much less a job.

He broke down the job search process and found that there was a lot of consistency in the advice, but no one had a tool for the job seeker (aside from 3×5 cards, a legal notebook or an Excel spreadsheet). Jason took as many ideas from the principles, combined it with the CRM concept (Salesforce.com, ACT!, Goldmine, etc.) and developed a real, industrial-strength tool for the job search, and network relationship for individuals (employed or not).

His work has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal’s Career Journal, Money Magazine, CIO, hundreds of blogs and dozens of newspapers and radio stations. To get a free JibberJobber account, click here. To learn more about JibberJobber, check out some of these videos.

Indeed, I have noticed that everyone seems to be a little on edge lately, Brooke. And, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be abating so, I can't wait to read your book! :-)

Have you noticed that everyone seems to be a little on edge lately; A little snappish, to say the least? Do you find yourself wondering where all this aggression that is so prominent in the world lately stems from?
My first book is a humorous look at the source of our anxiety. You'll laugh, you'll learn. best of all you'll become a better communicator with this new found awareness under your belt.

A must-read for anyone who deals with people on a regular basis.

I'm guessing we put our book here? I have two:

I'm on LinkedIn -- Now What??? (http://www.happyabout.info/linkedinhelp.php) and...

I'm on Facebook -- Now What??? (http://www.happyabout.info/facebook.php)

The purpose of these books is to help businesses and professionals figure out how to get real value out of these tools...!

You can also buy them on Amazon.com (but you can't get the ebook format there, only from Happy About).
