Folks always seem to be waiting for me, Vincent! lol

But I've gotta say, it's disappointing in some of the other groups that I can't seem to get any real conversations going. The networking piece seems to be missing most folks; that's a shame.

On the back up issue with Carbonite you would have an off site back up. The first or initial backup takes a few days depending on how much you are backing up. After the initial backup it backs up only the new stuff. Any change to a file would be backed up again at the scheduled time. Does that make sense?

Ashish, Hi buddy! You can get a lot of milage out of ning. There are many different networks and you make a network within another network over and over again. However many times you would like. It's interesting. I haven't grasped the whole thing yet though. I have another CIYOS network too within Ning.

THis one is my own social network above here. Everyone is used to coming here now... so we'll see how the other one does as well. I haven't really put any posts up there yet.

Thank you Sharon I appreciate the link there. So you're saying that files I backed up would be backed up twice is that right? I emptied the entire program files and all because I had a pop up issue with the program AOL has. Never happened before, but I'm liking this new desktop version. Very cool.

I dont think I left my footprints here yet, but hey, better late than never, right... anyway, I've been bit busy and caught up with 'stuff' and should be 'free' of all that soon... and when that happens, I should be around more. Anyway, in the meantime, I'll try and figure out how to make this site work for me, that is!!! :)

And wow, one can do bold and italics without having to master HTML...coool!!!

Sue, have you tried the backup company Carbonite? www.carbonite.com It is wonderful! If your home were to burn, you would still be backed up. It backs up your computer automatically after your initial backup. It is worth it and very cheap! Great for businesses, too.

Hello everyone. Glad to see you posting and all that good stuff. I was having some computer difficulty which I've remedied now. Lost some stuff, but not my favorites folders. After all these years to have lost those would have been massively disappointing. BUT ! I didn't! So I'm glad. So let me see what everyone's talking about!
