Design Engineer – Job W1617

Location: Kansas Missouri

Job Summary- Duties and Responsibilities:

•Perform static and dynamic structural analysis using ANYSIS and/or ABAQUS computer codes.

•Perform analytical model validation including running instrumented tests, DOE, data reduction etc..

•Work assignment includes design/analysis work as well as coordination with program managers, drafting, manufacturing, tooling, test and instrumentation groups and functions.

•Focus will be design/analysis and manufacturing of small caliber bullets.

Position Requirements:

•3-5 yrs of structural design/analysis experience.

•Familiarity with CAD packages.

•Work well in team environment.

•Strong presentation skills, interpersonal and customer service skills

•Strong analytic skills coupled with hands on experience



Education:

•This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Core Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical).
