Stephanie Kifowit "Leadership that Listens to the People!"

I had the opportunity to meet Stephanie Kifowit at a business luncheon recently and was thoroughly impressed. Stephanie is running for the Mayor of Aurora, IL and I believe she will make a tremendous impact on our city. As a local business owner in Aurora, IL it's very important to me to believe and trust the people that govern our city.
Stephanie took the time to explain her background and what she can bring to our city as Mayor. We spoke about her military service in our US Marine Corps and the positive steps taken in her life to be in a position to run for Mayor. It was truly impressive that she took the time to cover my questions involving why she felt she would be good for our community.
Stephanie Kifowit has been Alderman of the Third Ward for 5 years. She was first elected in 2003; and recently was re-elected by 72% of the vote in 2007. She is a member of the American Society of Public Administrators, Illinois Municipal League, and the Illinois City/County Management Association. In my professional opinion Stephanie could be in politics or any sector of the business world and she will succeed.
Stephanie's goal as Mayor is to provide "Leadership that Listens to the people." She makes a promise that it will be the people of the City of Aurora that she will serve. Stephanie Kifowit will not be beholden to special interests or people who contribute to her campaign.
